Mediapack Serving GB Canoeing

Maximus Productions has been providing 'in-house' media services to the British Canoe Union & GB Canoeing via our 'Mediapack Communications' package for five months now & we've really hit the water paddling!

From the outset, we had to respond swiftly to a whole set of exisitng priorities, whilst also working closely with the Press Office to establish a clear strategy going forward. This strategy included: delivering footage to broadcasters to increase the potential for the sport to gain coverage; producing broadcast standard in-house videos for a wide range of purposes; coaching GB squad athletes in media skills to help them prepare for the Olympics & advising on production of live events to further raise the sport's profile.

Since November 2010, we have delivered creative direction to the British Indoor Kayak Championships & produced a newsreel piece on the event, filmed newsreel pieces on the hand over of the Olympic Canoe Slalom Centre & an athlete's visit to Great Ormond Stree Hospital, produced quick guides to Canoe Sprint & Canoe Slalom & produced a video message from the Performance Director of GB Canoeing with 500 days to the games.
